Thank you for sharing this real life capture of creative life and then the big step of getting things out!! You inspire me and all your characters and directions have my attention…💕🙏
These moments are tough, and should be checked off as one of those learning experience moments. And it's great that you share these experiences with other writers and your readers so they know they full ups and downs of self publishing. Keep writing and keep smiling because you're doing amazing!
I debated sharing it because I always want to project positivity but I have really struggled as of late feeling positive about my writing. Thanks for the encouragement, you literally inspire me every time I check in on what amazing things you're up to!
🥰I love our community and the support everyone gives. Don't let those moments of doubt detour your dreams to tell amazing stories! Remember, we all get those low points. I even think it's part of the writing and publishing process...to hit that low self-questioning point...in order to rocket ourselves the rest of the way toward that release day launch!
The writing community is so great, especially for moments like the one I'm having now. The best outcome of my social media use is the fellow indies I've met like you Kimberly!
Hey Brett! You described exactly how i feel about social media. It's a drain on my time and resources. I'm still posting there a few times a week but I've reduced it quite a bit. Congrats on walking away! I'm glad you are immediately feeling the benefits. Thanks so much for your well wishes and kind words. I would love to do a Substack newsletter swap with you! Looking into November and December I am trying to resume my consistent schedule with them. Let's definitely plan a swap before the end of the year!
