1. Why does this Cosmic Newsletter look different?
2. Do I still get FREE indie books?
3. What will be featured on your Substack?
Change can be freeing.
Wondering why the change to the formatting of your newsletter?
1. Why does this look different from your regular Cosmic Newsletter?
I have moved service providers for my newsletters, and combined them with my online blog that was previously featured on my website. MailChimp was an excellent service, but no longer fit my needs or budget completely. When you’re an indie author, costs accumulate quickly. In an effort to keep my author costs down, preserve my mailing list and continue to grow with the arc of technology I have moved to Substack. Substack has an app as well, and it is kind of like a newsletter, blog, website, Patreon and marketing website all in one. I am hoping to expand my readership and discoverability on here! If you enjoy sci-fi fantasy with a healthy dose of romance and time travel you’ve arrived at an excellent Substack (imho)
2. Do I still get FREE indie books and access to awesome indie book promotions?
Absolutely! The Cosmic Newsletter will still go out with FREE fantasy and sci-fi ebooks for you to enjoy, at least once a month, sent to your inbox.
3. What else is on your Substack?
I will be writing on various topics for either the free or paid subscription format available here on Substack.
My paid subscription articles will include tips and hacks on indie publishing, and the professional craft of writing. Paying for a subscription directly supports me, and allows me to share the knowledge I have accumulated either through continuing education or my own trial & error.
Free articles to subscribers will include the inspiration behind my books and characters, deep dives into my magic systems and timelines for my fantasy/time-travel series of books. I will also be writing the occasional nature essay on the secret life of plants—as well as lots of pictures of cats!
Thanks for being here!
