Spring is springing if you’re in my neck of the woods.
Appalachia is alive with fresh blooms this time of year, and I’ve been playing out in the garden as much as time allows. The trilliums are in bloom—in fact nearly early every leaf and flower is making the most of it, with pastel pinks, fuchsia, tropical orange, deep plum, and golden yellow making their brief yearly appearance in a sea of green.
Seems perfectly fitting that April is National Gardening month here in the States, because that is my part time hobby for the foreseeable future.
When I’m not gardening, working or writing—I’m reading! Right now I am beta reading an author friend’s sequel YA fantasy book, and it is action packed! I don’t often read YA, or anything with such intricate and frequent fight scenes, it’s quite enjoyable (and inspiring, honestly). In honor of this, I have included three fantasy indie titles that I’ve read and loved that have action packed fight scenes!
